Selecting the source of Network Isolation settings

This section provides information related to Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Windows. This information may be partially or completely inapplicable to Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Linux. For complete information about Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Linux, please refer to the Help of the solution that includes the application: Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform or Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response.

To select the source of Network Isolation settings:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Open the application properties window for an individual device.
    • Open the policy properties window.
  2. In the Telemetry collection servers section, select the General settings subsection.
  3. In the Source of Network isolation parameters block, in the Priority server drop-down list, select the server that will be the source of the Network Isolation settings. Kaspersky Endpoint Agent applies the Network Isolation settings according to the following rules:
    • If integration is configured only with the KATA server, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent applies the Network Isolation settings defined on the server with the KATA Central Node installed.
    • If integration is configured only with the KICS for Networks server, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent applies the Network Isolation settings defined on the server with KICS for Networks installed.
    • If integration is configured with both the KATA server and the KICS for Networks server, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent applies the Network Isolation settings defined on the server selected in the Priority server drop-down list.
    • If integration is not configured with the KATA server and the KICS for Networks server, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent applies the Network Isolation settings defined locally on the host where Kaspersky Endpoint Agent is installed using the command line or in the node properties in Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.
  4. Click OK to save the changes.
