Limitations for scenarios of integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum
- If Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent (klnagent), version 10.5 to 12.1, is installed, scenarios of integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum are supported, with the following limitations:
- Information about the threat development chain is not passed to the network list.
- Information about the task execution results is not sent to Kaspersky Security Center.
- If klnagent 12.1 or later is installed, all scenarios of integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum are supported without limitations.
- One of the following browsers is required to manage Kaspersky Endpoint Agent using Kaspersky Security Center Web Console:
- Google Chrome for Windows
- Mozilla Firefox for Windows
- Google Chrome for Windows
- Mozilla Firefox for Windows
- On Microsoft Windows XP, Network Agent may perform the following operations incorrectly:
- loading updates directly from Kaspersky servers (if acting as a distribution point);
- operation as a KSN proxy server (if acting as a distribution point);
- detecting vulnerabilities in third-party applications (if using System Administration).
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 compatibility with the previous versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent
If Endpoint Sensor version 3.6.X is installed and used on the device as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, Endpoint Sensor must be disabled before installing Kaspersky Endpoint Agent in order to avoid possible conflicts between the applications.
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 can be installed as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security on a device with Endpoint Sensor version 3.5 or lower. The applications work independently without conflicts.
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent can be updated for application versions installed both as part of the Endpoint Protection Platform application and separately. If Kaspersky Endpoint Agent is installed separately, only version 3.8 and later can be updated. The update can be performed by installing the new version.
The Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 administration plug-in and the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 web plug-in are compatible with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent versions 3.11 and higher.
Integration between the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 and Kaspersky Endpoint Protection Platform applications
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.16 can be integrated with the following Kaspersky Endpoint Protection Platform applications (hereinafter also referred to as EPP):
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows versions 11.8, 11.9, 11.10, 11.11, 12.0.
- Kaspersky Security for Windows Server 11.0.1.
- Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes versions 3.0, 3.1, 3.2.
- Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks versions 4.0.1, 4.1.
- Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent.
For information on the available Endpoint Detection and Response features, refer to the corresponding EPP application help.
