Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum must be updated if you want to update Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows to version 11.7 or later. There is no need to update Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent and Kaspersky Security for Windows Server.
In the infrastructure where Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 1.1 (or earlier) is used together with various application for protecting the IT infrastructure, the update process depends on the solution used to centrally manage the network security: local (Kaspersky Security Center) or cloud (Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console).
