Software requirements
Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 is compatible with the following versions of Kaspersky applications:
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows EPP application with built-in support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: 11.7.0-12.5.
- An EPP application that requires the installation of a separate agent to support Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent.
- Kaspersky Endpoint Agent – versions 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14, 3.15, and 3.16.
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent can be installed on individual devices in an IT infrastructure that includes Windows operating systems. The application provides support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum for EPP applications that do not have built-in support for the solution.
- Applications for centralized network security management:
- Kaspersky Security Center Windows 13.2 or later
- Kaspersky Security Center Linux 15 (limited support)
The Alerts section and EDR alerts widget are not available in Kaspersky Security Center Linux. You can view alert details in reports on threats.

If you have previously used the solution with Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, we recommend that you migrate from Kaspersky Security for Windows Server to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.0 or later, which has a built-in agent.
