Activation of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 involves activation of EPP applications installed on the protected devices using a license that includes Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 functionality.
You can purchase a license for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 in the following ways:
If you purchased a license for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 as part of an EPP application license, you will be able to use EDR Optimum 2.3 after performing initial setup of the solution.
In this case, we recommend using a key file to activate EPP applications integrated with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent. When the same activation code is used for several EPP applications installed on the same device (for example, Kaspersky Endpoint Agent and Kaspersky for Windows Server), information about the number of licenses used by Kaspersky Security Center Web Console or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console may be displayed incorrectly.
If you have previously used the solution with Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, we recommend that you migrate from Kaspersky Security for Windows Server to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.0 or later, which contains a built-in agent. For details on migration, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help.
If you purchased a license for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 separately but in addition to a previously purchased license after installing and activating Kaspersky applications on devices, you will need to reactivate the applications on the devices using the new activation code or key file, depending on the way you purchased the license for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3. After that, perform initial setup of the solution.
For more details on activating the solution, refer to the documentation of Kaspersky EPP applications:
