Configuring settings for storing files in Quarantine

This functionality is not supported by Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 12.1.

To view a list of quarantined files,

in the main window of Kaspersky Security Center Web Console or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console go to the RepositoriesQuarantine section.

For more information about working with Quarantine, refer to the Kaspersky Security Center Windows Help, Kaspersky Security Center Linux Help, and Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console Help.

Objects quarantined by Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum cannot be scanned.

Restoring files from Quarantine is also available from the command line. For details, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help.

Objects are quarantined using the permissions of the system account (SYSTEM). When being restored from Quarantine, a file is not moved to its original location but to a special folder on the device, from which you can manually move it to the destination folder.

To configure settings for storing files in Quarantine, do the following:

  1. In the main window of Kaspersky Security Center Web Console or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console, go to the DevicesPolicies and profiles section.
  2. Click the name of the policy you want to configure.

    The policy properties window opens.

  3. Select the Application settings tab.
  4. In the Repositories section, select Quarantine and specify the required settings.

For more information on configurable quarantine settings, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help and Kaspersky Endpoint Agent Help.
