Software requirements

Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 4.0 is compatible with the following versions of Kaspersky applications:

• Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows EPP application with built-in support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: 11.7.0-12.10.

  You can deploy Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.8 or later as Light Agent as part of the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.2 Light Agent solution. When deployed in Light Agent mode, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows also supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 4.0 functionality.

• Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac EPP application with built-in support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: 12.1 or later.

  Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac requires Kaspersky Security Center Windows 14.2 or later, Kaspersky Security Center Linux 15.1 or later, or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console.

• Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux EPP application with built-in support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: 12.1 or later.

  You can deploy Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux in Light Agent mode as part of the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.2 Light Agent solution. When deployed in Light Agent mode, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux also supports Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 4.0 functionality.

  Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux requires Kaspersky Security Center Windows 14.2 or later, Kaspersky Security Center Linux 15.1 or later, or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console.

• If you have previously used the EPP application Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent that requires the installation of a separate agent to support Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum, you have to migrate from Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.8 or later. • Applications for centralized network security management:
  • Kaspersky Security Center Windows 13.2 or later
  • Kaspersky Security Center Linux 15.1 or later
  • Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console

The additional functionality of Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum is compatible with the following versions of Kaspersky applications:

• Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows EPP application with built-in support for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum: version 12.9 or later.
• Kaspersky Security Center Linux: version 15.4 or later, with the Endpoint Detection and Response plug-in 15.4 or later installed.
• Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console.

If you have previously used the solution with Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, we recommend that you migrate from Kaspersky Security for Windows Server to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.0 or later, which has a built-in agent.
