If you purchased a license for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 4.0 as part of an EPP application license, you will be able to use the solution after performing the initial setup.
If you have previously used the EPP application Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent that requires the installation of a separate agent to support Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum, you have to migrate from Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.8 or later. If you have previously used the solution with Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, we recommend that you migrate from Kaspersky Security for Windows Server to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.0 or later, which contains a built-in agent.
