Upgrading an old application version

You can upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Linux to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.1.0 for Linux.

Regardless of whether Kaspersky Endpoint Security was launched before the update process start, if the update is completed successfully, a new application version is launched. If the update fails, the previous version is launched.

You can upgrade the old version of the application as follows:

You can upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 1 to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Linux, and then upgrade it to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.1.0 for Linux.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Linux File Server, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Linux, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 1 cannot be upgraded to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.1.0 for Linux. You must first remove the previous version of the application, and then install Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.1.0 for Linux.

We recommend quitting all active applications before upgrading a previous application version.
