Network settings

You can configure settings of the encrypted connections scan. These settings are applicable to Web Threat Protection and Network Threat Protection tasks.

Encrypted connections scan enabled / disabled

This toggle button enables or disables scanning of encrypted connections.

The toggle button is switched on by default.

Action when an untrusted certificate encountered

In this section, you can select an action to perform when untrusted certificate encountered:

  • Allow connection to a domain with an untrusted certificate.
  • Block connection to a domain with an untrusted certificate.

    The Allow action is selected by default.

Action on errors during encrypted connections scan

In this section, you can select an action to perform when encrypted connection scan error occurs:

  • Add website to exclusions adds the domain that resulted in the error to the list of domains with scan errors and does not monitor encrypted network traffic when this domain is visited.
  • Disconnect from website blocks the network connection.

    The Add website to exclusions action is selected by default.

Exclusions

In this section, you can configure a list of trusted domain names. Clicking the Configure exclusions link opens the Exclusions window. By default, a list of trusted domain names is empty.

Network ports

In this section, you can configure network ports to be monitored. Clicking the Edit network ports configuration link opens the Network ports window.

Monitor all network ports

If this action is selected, Kaspersky Endpoint Security monitors all network ports.

Monitor specified ports only

If this action is selected, Kaspersky Endpoint Security monitors only the network ports specified in the table.

This action is selected by default.
