Container Scan in the Administration Console

In the Administration Console, you can scan containers and images using the Container Scan task.

You can create and run Container Scan user tasks. You can configure the scan settings by editing the settings of the tasks.

In the Settings section of the properties of the Container Scan task, you can configure the settings listed in the table below.

Container scan task settings

Setting	Description
Scan	This group of settings contains buttons that open windows where you can configure the Container Scan settings and general scan settings.
Action on threat detection	This group of settings contains the Configure button. Clicking this button opens the Action on threat detection window, where you can configure the actions that the application performs on detected infected objects.

In the Exclusions section in the task properties, you can also configure exclusions by mask and by threat name for the Container Scan task.
