Trusted devices window

The table contains a list of trusted devices. The table is empty by default.

Trusted device settings

Setting	Description
Device ID	ID of a trusted device.
Device name	Trusted device name.
Device type	Trusted device type (for example, Hard drive or Smart card reader).
Host name	Name of the client device the trusted device is connected to.
User or group name	Name of the user or group for which the device is trusted.
Comment	Comment related to a trusted device.

You can add devices to the trusted device list using the Add button as follows:

• Specify a device ID or device ID mask (Add → Add device by ID or mask).
• Select the desired device from the list of devices detected on managed devices (Add → Select a device from the list of devices detected on hosts).
• Select the desired device from the list of devices detected in Device Control events in Kaspersky Security Center (Add → Add device based on events).

You can edit and delete trusted devices in the table.

You can also export the list of added devices to a file by clicking the Advanced → Export selected or Advanced → Export all button and import a list of devices from a JSON file by clicking the Advanced → Import button.

Three import modes are possible:

• Combine with existing to merge the lists of trusted devices upon import. If the file already has an entry for this device ID, settings of the existing entry are updated. For devices that were not previously on the list, entries are added.
• Add to existing to add trusted devices to the list upon import. Only entries for devices not previously on the list of devices are added to the list.
• Replace existing to replace the list of trusted devices. The existing list of trusted devices is replaced with the list from the file.
