Open the main application window
The main application window of Kaspersky Endpoint Security contains interface elements that provide access to the main functions of the application.
The main application window is divided into two parts:
- The left part contains the sidebar, which lets you navigate the application and quickly access its main functions.
- The central part displays the contents of the section selected in the sidebar and lets you manage data.
Sidebar
The sidebar of the main application window has the following options:

Click to view the operating status of installed components. Learn more. |

Click to manage scan tasks. Learn more. |

Click to activate the application or view information about your license. Learn more. |
Controls of the Monitoring page
The Monitoring page displays the protection status indicator, provides information on what Kaspersky Endpoint Security is doing to protect your computer, and contains the following controls.
Protection Center |
Informs you about computer protection problems. Learn more. |
Reports |
Allows you to view events that occurred during operation of the application, individual components, and tasks. Learn more. |
Backup |
Allows you to view a list of saved copies of infected files that the application has deleted. Learn more. Learn more. |
Threat Detection |
Allows you to view information about threat detection technologies applied by Kaspersky Endpoint Security and the number of threats detected by these technologies. |
Kaspersky Security Network |
Displays the status of the connection between Kaspersky Endpoint Security and Kaspersky Security Network, and also global Kaspersky Security Network statistics. |
