If you want to import or export rules for monitoring registry access in a policy, in the System inspection section, in the Registry Access Monitor block, click the Settings button.
The Registry Access Monitor opens on the Registry Access Monitor settings tab.
If you want to import or export registry access monitoring rules for a local task, in the Properties: Registry Access Monitor window, go to the Settings section.
Export or import registry access monitoring rules:
In the Registry access monitoring rules block, click the Import button.
In the context menu of the Import button, select one of the values:
Merge with existing rules, if you want to add the imported rules to the list of existing rules.
If the registry branch name in the imported rule matches the registry branch name of an existing rule, the imported rule will not be added even if the values of the settings for this registry branch differ in the rules.
Add to existing rules, if you want to add the imported rules to the list of existing rules. Rules with identical settings are duplicated.
Replace existing rules, if you want to replace the existing rules with the imported rules.
The standard Microsoft Windows Open window opens.
Specify the path to the XML file with the settings of the registry access monitoring rules.
Click the Open button.
In the Registry Access Monitor / Properties: Registry Access Monitor window, the imported rules will be displayed in the Registry access monitoring rules section.
