Export and import of file operations monitoring rules

You can export file operations monitoring rules created manually in the properties of the File Integrity Monitor task to an XML file.

You can import file operations monitoring rules that were previously exported to an XML file into the properties of the File Integrity Monitor task.

To export or import file operations monitoring rules using the Web Plug-in:

1. In the main window of the Kaspersky Security Center Web Console, select Devices → Policies & profiles.
2. Click the policy name you want to configure.
3. In the <Policy name> window that opens, select the Application settings tab.
4. Select the System Inspection section.
5. In the File Integrity Monitor subsection, click the Settings button.

   The File Integrity Monitor window opens on the File operations monitoring settings tab.

6. Export or import file operations monitoring rules:
   • How to export file operations monitoring rules.

     Click the Export button.

     The application saves the FileIntegrityMonitor.xml file with the settings of the file operation monitoring rules in the C:\Users\<User name>\Downloads folder.

   • How to import rules for file operations monitoring rules.
     1. Click the Import button.

        The standard Microsoft Windows Open window opens.

     2. Specify the path to the XML file with the settings of the file operations monitoring rules.
     3. Click the Open button.

        The rules imported via rule list merge will be displayed in the File Integrity Monitor window on the File operations monitoring settings tab.

        If settings of the file integrity monitor rule from the imported rule list are identical to the settings of already existing rule, this rule will not be added from the imported rule list.

7. Click the OK button to save the changes.
