Exporting and importing System Integrity Monitoring rules
You can export the list of System Integrity Monitoring rules to an XML file. Then you can modify the file to, for example, add a large number of records of the same type. You can use the export/import function to back up the list of System Integrity Monitoring rules or to migrate the list to a different server.
System Integrity Monitoring does not support the import of HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG keys for the System Integrity Check task. If the monitoring scope of the task contains these keys, the application generates the Monitoring scope includes incorrect objects event.
In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console tree, select the Policies folder.
Select the necessary policy and double-click to open the policy properties.
In the policy properties window, select System Inspection.
In the System Integrity Monitoring section, click Settings.
To export file/registry rules:
On the Files or Registry tab, select the rules that you want to export.
Click the Export button and select Export selected.
If you did not select any rule, clicking Export → Export makes Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security export all rules.
In the window that opens, specify the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of rules, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Save the file.
Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security exports the list of rules to the XML file.
To import file/registry rules:
On the Files or Registry tab, click the Import button.
In the window that opens, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of rules.
Open the file.
If the computer already has a list of rules, Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
In the main window of the Web Console, select Assets (Devices) → Policies & profiles.
Click the name of the Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security policy.
The policy properties window opens.
Select the Application settings tab.
Go to System Inspection → System Integrity Monitoring and click the Configure button.
The System Integrity Monitoring settings window opens.
To export file/registry rules:
On the File or Registry tab, select the rules that you want to export.
Click the Export button.This opens a window; in that window, specify whether you want to export selected rules or all rules, then click Export.
If you did not select any rule, Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security will export all rules.
Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security exports the list of rules to the XML file.
To import file/registry rules:
On the File or Registry tab, click the Import from the previous version button if you want to import rules from an XML file created in version 3.4 or earlier of the application.
If you are importing rules from an XML file created in version 4.0 or later, click Import.
If the computer already has a list of rules, Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
In the window that opens, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of rules.
In the Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security Console tree, select System Inspection → System Integrity Monitoring.
In the results pane of the System Integrity Monitoring node, click Properties.
The Properties: System Integrity Monitoring window opens.
To export file/registry rules:
On the Files or Registry tab, select the rules that you want to export.
Click the Export button and select Export selected.
If you did not select any rule, clicking Export → Export makes Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security export all rules.
In the window that opens, specify the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of rules, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Save the file.
Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security exports the list of rules to the XML file.
