Protecting operating system services
You can use the Protect operating system services functionality to allow or prohibit third-party applications from acting upon operating system services.
How to enable or disable operating system services protection in the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console
In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console tree, select the Policies folder. Select the necessary policy and double-click to open the policy properties. In the policy properties window, go to the Application settings section. In the Security and reliability block, click the Settings button. This opens a window; in that window, select the Security tab. Use the Protect operating system services check box to enable or disable protection of the operating system services.If the protection of operating system services is enabled, third-party applications cannot act upon the processes of the operating system.
If the protection of operating system services is disabled, third-party applications can act upon the processes of the operating system.
After enabling or disabling the function, you must restart your computer to apply the changes.

In the main window of the Web Console, select Assets (Devices) → Policies & profiles . Click the name of the Kaspersky Embedded Systems Security policy.The policy properties window opens.

Use the Protect operating system services check box to enable or disable protection of the operating system services.If the protection of operating system services is enabled, third-party applications cannot act upon the processes of the operating system.
