Enabling and disabling Web Threat Protection

By default, the Web Threat Protection component is enabled and runs in the mode recommended by Kaspersky experts. You can disable the Web Threat Protection component if necessary.

To enable or disable the Web Threat Protection component:

  1. In the lower part of the main application window, click the icon_settings button.
  2. In the application settings window, select Protection → Essential Threat Protection → Web Threat Protection.
  3. Use the Web Threat Protection toggle to enable or disable the component.
  4. Save your changes.
