Enabling and disabling File Threat Protection

By default, the File Threat Protection component is enabled and runs in the mode recommended by Kaspersky experts. You can disable File Threat Protection if necessary.

To enable or disable the File Threat Protection component:

1. In the lower part of the main application window, click the button.
2. In the application settings window, select Protection → Essential Threat Protection → File Threat Protection.
3. Use the File Threat Protection toggle to enable or disable the component.
4. Save your changes.
