Kaspersky Endpoint Security uses the following lists to monitor network ports: list of network ports and list of applications whose ports are monitored by Kaspersky Endpoint Security. You can export lists of monitored ports to an XML file. Then you can modify the file to, for example, add a large number of ports with the same description. You can also use the export/import function to back up the lists of monitored ports or to migrate the lists to a different server.
Open the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console.
In the Managed devices folder in the Administration Console tree, open the folder with the name of the administration group to which the relevant client computers belong.
In the workspace, select the Policies tab.
Select the necessary policy and double-click to open the policy properties.
In the policy window, select General settings → Network settings.
In the Monitored ports section, select Monitor selected network ports only.
Click the Settings button.
The Network ports window opens. The Network ports window displays a list of network ports that are normally used for transmission of email and network traffic. This list of network ports is included in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security package.
To export the list of network ports:
In the list of network ports, select the ports that you want to export. To select multiple ports, use the CTRL or SHIFT keys.
If you did not select any port, Kaspersky Endpoint Security will export all ports.
Click the Export button.
In the opened window, enter the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of network ports, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Click the Save button.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security exports the entire list of network ports to the XML file.
To export the list of applications whose ports are monitored by Kaspersky Endpoint Security:
Select the Monitor all ports for specified applications check box.
In the list of applications, select the applications that you want to export. To select multiple ports, use the CTRL or SHIFT keys.
If you did not select any application, Kaspersky Endpoint Security will export all applications.
Click the Export button.
In the window that opens, specify the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of applications, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Click the Save button.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security exports the entire list of applications to the XML file.
To import the list of network ports:
In the list of network ports, click the Import button.
In the window that opens, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of network ports.
Click the Open button.
If the computer already has a list of network ports, Kaspersky Endpoint Security will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
To import a list of applications whose ports are monitored by Kaspersky Endpoint Security:
In the list of applications, click the Import button.
In the opened window, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of applications.
Click the Open button.
If the computer already has a list of applications, Kaspersky Endpoint Security will prompt you to delete the existing list or to add new entries to it from the XML file.
In the main window of Web Console, select Devices → Policies and profiles.
Click the name of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security policy for computers on which you want to export or import lists of monitored ports.
The policy properties window opens.
Select the Application settings tab.
Go to the General settings → Network settings section.
To export the list of network ports:
In the Monitored ports section, select Monitor selected network ports only.
Click the N ports selected link.
The Network ports window opens. The Network ports window displays a list of network ports that are normally used for transmission of email and network traffic. This list of network ports is included in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security package.
