Changing the encryption algorithm
The encryption algorithm used by Kaspersky Endpoint Security for data encryption depends on the encryption libraries that are included in the distribution kit.
To change the encryption algorithm:
- Decrypt objects that Kaspersky Endpoint Security encrypted before beginning to change the encryption algorithm.
After the encryption algorithm is changed, objects that were previously encrypted become unavailable.
- Remove Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
- Install Kaspersky Endpoint Security from the Kaspersky Endpoint Security distribution package containing an encryption algorithm for a different bit count.
