Managing the license keys of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, EDR Optimum, or EDR Expert (Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Add-on).

To execute this command and remove a license key, Password protection must be enabled. The user must have the Remove key permission.

To run the command, go to the folder where the Kaspersky Endpoint Security executable file is located. You can also add the executable file path to the %PATH% system variable and run the command without navigating to the application folder.

Command syntax

avp.com LICENSE <operation> [/login=<user name> /password=<password>]

Operation

 

/ADD <file name>

Activating Kaspersky Endpoint Security using a key file. If the application is already activated, the key will be added as a reserve one.

/ADD <activation code>

Activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security using an activation code. If the application is already activated, the key will be added as a reserve one.

/REFRESH

Update the status of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security license. As a result, the application receives up-to-date license status information from Kaspersky activation servers.

/REFRESH <license ID>

Update the status of licenses using license ID. Using this command, you can update the status of EDR Add-on, MDR Add-on, KUMA Add-on or other licenses. You can obtain the license ID from the license certificate. As a result, the application receives up-to-date license status information from Kaspersky activation servers.

Authentication

 

/login=<user name> /password=<password>

User account credentials with the required Password protection permissions.

Example:

avp.com LICENSE /ADD file.key

avp.com LICENSE /ADD AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC-DDDDD
