Command syntax

avp.com KSVLAINFO

The command outputs the following information to the console:

  • Light Agent mode for protecting virtual environments: enabled or disabled.

If Light Agent mode is enabled, the application is used as part of the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent solution.

  • VDI protection mode: enabled or disabled.

The VDI protection mode helps optimize the performance of Kaspersky Endpoint Security on nonpersistent virtual machines. If VDI protection mode is enabled, updates that require restarting the protected virtual machine are not installed on nonpersistent virtual machines. When receiving updates that require a restart, Light Agent installed on a nonpersistent virtual machine sends a message to Kaspersky Security Center informing it that the protected virtual machine template needs to be updated.

  • Type of the protected virtual machine: persistent or nonpersistent.
  • Role of the protected virtual machine in the virtual infrastructure: server or workstation.
  • Identifier (UUID) of the protected virtual machine.
