Opening a bank website in Protected Browser

To open a bank's website in Protected Browser, do one of the following:

The bank's website opens in Protected Browser specified in the application settings.

The Microsoft Edge browser does not support Protected Browser mode. Internet Explorer or the browser specified in application settings opens instead.

When you open a website in Protected Browser, Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints checks the security of the connection to the website, after which a frame appears around the browser window. The color of the frame indicates the result of checks and the protection status.

The application does not verify the connection to websites of unlicensed banks.

When an attempt is made in the Protected Browser window to visit the website of an online banking system that is not covered by a Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints license, the requested website opens in a new window of a browser started in regular mode. A message saying that the requested web page has been opened in a different browser window is displayed in the Protected Browser window.
