Password-protecting access to the application
You can restrict access to the application by using a password. The following application management actions can be password-protected:
- Changing the application settings
- Quitting the application
- Removing the application
To password-protect access to control over Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints:
- in the context menu of the application icon located in the taskbar notification area, select the Open Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints item.
The main application window opens.
- In the right part of the main window, click the Settings link to open the Settings window.
- In the General section, click the Set up password protection link to open the Password protection window.
If the password for protecting access to the application was set previously, the Change password link is displayed instead.
The Password protection window opens.
- In the window that opens, fill in the New password and Confirm password fields.
- In the Password scope group of settings, specify the application actions to which you want to restrict access.
- Click the Save button.
If you have lost your password, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support to have it restored.
