After installing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes using the command line, perform the initial application setup by running the initial setup script. The initial configuration script is included in the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes distribution kit.
Performing the post-installation configuration after installing the application using the command line is required to enable the protection of the client device.
To start the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes post-installation setup script, execute the following command:
# /opt/kaspersky/kics/bin/kics-setup.pl
The initial setup script must be run with root privileges after installation of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes package is finished. If the command returns code 0, the initial application setup is finished successfully.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes provides device protection only after the application databases are updated.
