Exporting and importing settings and categories via Kaspersky Security Center

In Kaspersky Security Center, you can export Application Control settings, rules, and application categories configured on a managed device to a JSON file. Then, if necessary, you can edit the Application Control settings, rules, and application categories in the file and import them to any managed device.

Export and import of Application Control settings, rules, and categories is available for a managed device if the policy that is applied on the managed device allows local management of Application Control settings.

Export and import in the Web Console

In the Web Console, you can export and import Application Control settings in the device properties (Assets (Devices) → Managed devices → <device name> link → Applications → <Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes> link → Application settings → Application Control).

Using the Export and Import buttons under Application categories, you can:

Export the list of application categories configured on the managed device to a JSON file. The file is downloaded to the downloads directory of your browser.
Import a list of application categories from a JSON file to the managed device. Importing overwrites the list of categories in the application on the device.

Using the Export and Import buttons under Application Control settings, you can:

Export the basic settings and rules of Application Control configured on the managed device to a JSON file. The file is downloaded to the downloads directory of your browser.
Import the basic settings and rules of Application Control from a JSON file to the managed device. Importing applies the new Application Control settings and rules to the device.

Export and import in the Administration Console

In the Administration Console, you can export and import Application Control settings in the device properties (Managed devices → Devices → double-click the device name → Applications → double-click Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes → Application Control).
