Limitations
The application has limitations when running on the following operating systems:
Astra Linux Special Edition RUSB.10015-01 (operational update 1.4):
Behavior Detection: the component is not guaranteed to work because of the asynchronous mechanism for getting information about starting processes in the operating system.
Web Threat Protection: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Network Threat Protection: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Anti-Cryptor: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Firewall Management: IPv6 rules of the Firewall do not work.
Web Control: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Container Scan: does not work because the operating system does not support containers.
Malware Scan: In Astra Linux operating systems with glibc versions earlier than 2.11, files located in directories with a path length longer than 4096 characters are not disinfected or deleted.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity Endpoint Detection and Response: Only telemetry events about file operations and network activity are available.
Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent: requires additional device configuration. See the Kaspersky Security Center Help.
CentOS 5.2 and 5.4:
Behavior Detection: does not work because the operating system lacks required functionality.
Web Threat Protection: does not work, because there is no support for the TProxy mechanism.
Network Threat Protection: does not work, because there is no support for the TProxy mechanism.
Anti-Cryptor: does not work, because there is no support for the TProxy mechanism.
Container Scan: does not work because the operating system does not support containers.
Device Control: ReadOnly mode for devices works only if the device was connected after activating the mode in the application. For devices connected before this mode was activated, the access mode remains unchanged.
Application Control: does not work because there is no support of the fanotify technology that is necessary for synchronous interception of process start.
Firewall Management: does not work, because there is no support for adding chains to iptables.
Web Control: does not work, because there is no support for the TProxy mechanism.
System Integrity Check: file change events may not be generated.
Network Isolation: does not work, because there is no support for the TProxy mechanism.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity Endpoint Detection and Response: the threat development chain does not represent network activity because there is no TProxy support. Only telemetry events about file operations are available. Object execution prevention does not work because synchronous interception of process start is not available.
Graphical user interface: does not work, because the libxcb library is missing from the operating system.
Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent: requires additional device configuration. See the Kaspersky Security Center Help.
Installation/Removal: The application is not compatible with SELinux in these version of the operating system. Possible solution: put SELinux in non-blocking mode (permissive mode) or disable SELinux.
Malware Scan: In operating systems with glibc versions earlier than 2.11, files located in directories with a path length longer than 4096 characters are not disinfected or deleted.
CentOS 6.4, 6.5 and 6.6:
Behavior Detection: the component is not guaranteed to work because of the asynchronous mechanism for getting information about starting processes in the operating system.
Web Threat Protection: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Network Threat Protection: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Anti-Cryptor: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Container Scan: does not work because the operating system does not support containers.
Application Control: does not work because there is no support of the fanotify technology that is necessary for synchronous interception of process start.
Firewall Management: IPv6 rules of the Firewall do not work.
Web Control: interception of IPv6 traffic does not work.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity Endpoint Detection and Response: the threat development chain does not represent network activity because there is no TProxy support. Only telemetry events about file operations are available. Object execution prevention does not work because synchronous interception of process start is not available.
Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent: requires additional device configuration. See the Kaspersky Security Center Help.
Malware Scan: In operating systems with glibc versions earlier than 2.11, files located in directories with a path length longer than 4096 characters are not disinfected or deleted.
Due to technical limitations of fanotify, the application does not support the following file systems: autofs, binfmt_misc, cgroup, configfs, debugfs, devpts, devtmpfs, fuse, fuse.gvfsd-fuse, gfs2, gvfs, hugetlbfs, mqueue, nfsd, proc, parsecfs, pipefs, pstore, usbfs, rpc_pipefs, securityfs, selinuxfs, sysfs, tracefs.
