Exporting or importing a custom exclusion profile

You can export and import custom industrial software exclusion profiles using the Web Console or Administration Console.

You can also import custom industrial software exclusion profiles on the command line.

JSON files are used to save custom exclusion profiles.

Exporting or importing a custom exclusion profile in the Web Console

In the Web Console, you can export or import custom exclusion profiles in policy properties (Application settings → General settings → Global exclusions).

To save a custom exclusion profile to a file, click the Export button (Export custom exclusion profile to file) under Industrial software exclusions. Clicking this button opens the standard file browser window in which you can select the file to which you want to save the custom exclusion profile.

To import a custom exclusion profile, click the Import button (Import custom exclusion profile from file) under Industrial software exclusions. Clicking this button opens the standard file browser window.

Importing the file adds exclusions from the selected exclusion profile to application settings. New exclusions do not replace existing exclusions, they are only added to the list. Duplicate exclusions are not created.

Exporting or importing a custom exclusion profile in the Administration Console

In the Administration Console, you can import a predefined exclusion profile in the policy properties (General settings → Global exclusions).

To save a custom exclusion profile to a file, click the Choose button (Export custom exclusion profile to file) under Industrial software exclusions. Clicking this button opens the standard file browser window in which you can select the file to which you want to save the custom exclusion profile.

To import a custom exclusion profile, click the Import button (Import custom exclusion profile from file) under Industrial software exclusions. Clicking this button opens the standard file browser window.
