Managing license keys

Using the graphical interface, you can add or remove application license keys, and view information about the license under which the application is being used as well as the license key associated with the license.

To activate Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes on a protected device, you need to add the main license key to the application.

Activation is the process of activating a license that allows you to use a fully functional version of the application until the license expires.

If the main license that the application is activated with does not include the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity Endpoint Detection and Response functionality, to activate this functionality, you need to add a separate license key for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity Endpoint Detection and Response Add-on (hereinafter also referred to as the "ICS EDR key") to the device.

You can also add a reserve key for the basic functionality and a reserve key for the additional functionality. A reserve key becomes active when the license associated with the active key expires or when the active key is deleted. Availability of a reserve key allows you to avoid application functionality limitation when your license expires.

A reserve license key can be added only after adding an active license key.
