ProtocolType

The protocol used to send telemetry to KICS for Networks servers.

  • TCP (default value). A bidirectional data transfer protocol.
  • UDP. A unidirectional data transfer protocol. It can be used to send telemetry via a data diode set up between devices with Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes installed and KICS for Networks servers to prevent data from being sent to devices with Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes installed.

UdpEncryptionEnabled

Enable or disable encryption of telemetry sent to KICS for Networks servers via UDP.

  • Yes. Encrypt telemetry sent to KICS for Networks servers via UDP.
  • No (default value). Do not encrypt telemetry sent to KICS for Networks servers via UDP.

UseClientPinnedCertificate

Enable or disable two-way authentication to further secure your connection to the KICS for Networks server.

If client certificate validation is enabled on the integration server side, enable the use of a client certificate and add a client certificate before starting the Integration with KICS for Networks task.

  • Yes. Use two-way authentication to further secure your connection to the KICS for Networks server.
  • No (default value). Do not use two-way authentication.

SynchronizationPeriod

Frequency of sending synchronization requests to the KICS for Networks server in minutes.

The default value is 5.

ConnectionTimeout

Maximum time to wait for a connection to the KICS for Networks server in seconds.

The default value is 10.

RequestTimeout

Maximum time to wait for a response from the KICS for Networks server in seconds.

Default value: 10.

EnableTelemetry

Enable and disable sending event data (telemetry) to the Integration Server.

  • Yes (default value) – send telemetry to the Integration Server.
  • No – disable telemetry.

The [Endpoints.item_#] section contains the KICS for Networks server settings.

Address

KICS for Networks server address.

IP address (IPv4 or IPv6) or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the integration server can be specified.

Default value: 127.0.0.1.

Port

KICS for Networks server connection port

The default value is 8081.

The [EventTransferSettings] section contains settings for sending events to the KICS for Networks server.

MaximumDataTransferTime

The maximum delay in sending events to the KICS for Networks server in seconds.

The default value is 30.

MaximumNumberOfEventsInPackage

Maximum number of events in one package.

The default value is 1024.

UseRequestCountLimits

Enable or disable regulating the number of events sent to the KICS for Networks server.

  • Yes (default value). Throttle the number of events sent.
  • No. Do not throttle the number of events.

MaximumNumberOfEventsInHour

Maximum number of events per hour

The default value is 3000.

EventLimitExceededPercentage

Event throttle threshold (percentage). Sending events is limited if the ratio of events of a certain type to the total number of events exceeds the configured threshold (as a percentage).

The default value is 15.

PingPeriod

Polling period of KICS for Networks servers in seconds.

The default value is 450.
