Trusted device window (Device list based on events)
In this window, you can create a list of devices detected in Device Control events in Kaspersky Security Center. You can then add devices from this list to the list of trusted devices.
Information about devices is available if Device Control is enabled, there is an active policy, and synchronization with Network Agent has been performed (synchronization is performed at the frequency specified in the Network Agent policy; by default – every 15 minutes).
When you create a new inactive policy, the list will be empty.
To add a device detected in Kaspersky Security Center events to the list of trusted devices:
If required, configure the settings for generating the list of connected devices detected on client devices. By default, the search for connected devices applies to the following event types:
Access to the device is blocked.
Access to the device is allowed.
Access to the device is allowed in test mode.
Access to the device is blocked in test mode.
The application analyzes events that occurred over the last month on client devices in all administration groups.
You can limit the search for connected devices by configuring the following settings:
Event types. You can use check boxes to select the types of Device Control events sent to Kaspersky Security Center. The list includes the devices detected in events of the specified types.
All check boxes are selected by default.
Administration group. In this field, you can enter the name or part of the name of the administration group containing the client devices that the detected devices are connected to. Only devices connected to client devices from the specified administration group are included in the list.
By default, an administration group is not selected.
Event generation period. In the drop-down list, you can select the time period when the events occurred. The list includes devices that were detected in events sent to Kaspersky Security Center during the specified period.
In the Users and/or user groups window that opens, create a list of users or user groups for which added devices will be trusted.
Click Next.
This opens a window; in that window, if necessary, enter a comment for the trusted device and click OK to finish adding the device to the list of trusted devices.
