About permissions to manage Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes

By default, access to all Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes functions is granted to users of the Administrators group on the protected device, users of the KICS Administrators group created on the protected device during installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes, and the SYSTEM group.

Users who have Edit permissions access level for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes can grant access to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes functions to other users registered on the protected device or included in the domain.

Users who are not registered in the list of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes users cannot open the Application Console.

You can choose one of the following preset access levels for a user or group of users:

• Full control – access to all application functions: the ability to view and edit Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes general settings, component settings, and Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes user permissions; and the ability to view Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes statistics.
• Modification – access to all application functions except editing of user permissions: the ability to view and edit Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes general settings and Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes component settings.
• Read – the ability to view Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes general settings, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes component settings, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes statistics, and Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes user permissions.

You can also configure advanced access permissions: allow or block access to specific functions of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.

If you have manually configured access permissions for a user or group, then the Special permissions access level is set for this user or group.

Manage repositories	Ability to: Move objects to Quarantine. Remove objects from Quarantine and Backup. Restore objects from Quarantine and Backup.
Manage logs	Ability to delete task logs and clear the system audit log.
Read logs	Ability to view Anti-Virus events in task logs and the system audit log.
Read statistics	Ability to view statistics for each Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes task.
Application licensing	Ability to activate Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
Uninstalling the application	Ability to uninstall Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
Read permissions	Ability to view the list of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes users and user access privileges.
Edit permissions	Ability to: Edit the list of users with access to application management. Edit user access permissions for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes functions.
