During installation, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes registers the Kaspersky Security Management Service (KAVFSGT). To manage the application via the Application Console installed on a different protected device, the account used to connect to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes must have full access to the Kaspersky Security Management Service on the protected device.
By default, access to the Kaspersky Security Management Service is granted to users of the Administrators group on the protected device and users of the KICS Administrators group created on the protected device during installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
You can manage the Kaspersky Security Management Service only via the Microsoft Windows Services snap-in.
You cannot allow or block user access to the Kaspersky Security Management Service by configuring Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
You can connect to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes from a local account if an account with the same user name and password is registered on the protected device.
