Distribution kit

The distribution kit includes the welcome application that lets you do the following:

• Start the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes application Installation Wizard.
• Start the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Console Installation Wizard.
• Start the Installation Wizard that will install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Administration Plug-in.
• Go to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes page on the Kaspersky website.
• Visit the Technical Support website.
• Read information about the current version of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.

The distribution kit files are stored in different folders depending on their intended use:

• The \setup folder contains greeting program start files.
• The \client folder contains files for the installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Console ("Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Console Administration Tools" set of components).
• The \server folder contains:
  • Files for the installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes components on a computer running a 32-bit or 64-bit Microsoft® Windows operating system.
  • File for the installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Administration Plug-in.
  • Archive of anti-virus data\setup\setup.hta bases current at the time the application was released.
  • File with the text of the End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
• The \gateway folder contains files for the installation of Kaspersky Security Gateway.

  Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes distribution kit files

  File	Purpose
  autorun.inf	Autorun file for the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Installation Wizard when installing the application from removable drive.
  release_notes.txt	The file contains release information.
  migration.txt	The file describes migration from previous application versions.
  \setup\setup.exe	Greeting program start file (starts setup.hta).
  \setup\setup.hta	Application welcome screen launch file.
  \client\kicstools.msi	Windows Installer installation package; installs Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Console on the protected devices.
  \client\setup.exe	The file that starts the setup wizard for the "Administration Tools" set of components (including Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Console); it starts the kicstools.msi installation package file using the settings specified in the setup wizard.
  \client\license.txt	Text of the End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
  \gateway\security_gateway.msi	Windows Installer installation package; installs Kaspersky Security Gateway.
  \gateway\license.txt	Text of the End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
  \kvrt\KVRT.exe	Installer for Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.
  \server\bases.cab	Archive of anti-virus databases current at the time of application release.
  \server\config.ini	Configuration file with installation parameters for creation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes installation package in Kaspersky Security Center.
  \server\setup.exe	The file that starts the wizard for installing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes on the protected device; it starts the installer package file kics.msi with the installation settings specified in the wizard.
  \server\kics_x86.msi \server\kics_x64.msi	Windows Installer installation package; installs Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes on the protected device.
  \server\kics.kud	File in Kaspersky Unicode Definition format with a description of the installation package for remote installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes via Kaspersky Security Center.
  \server\klcfginst.exe	Installer for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes Administration Plug-in available via the Kaspersky Security Center. Install the Administration Plug-in on each protected device where the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console is installed if you plan to use it for managing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
  \server\license.txt	Text of the End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Distribution kit files can be run from the Installation CD. If you have copied the distribution package files onto the local drive beforehand, make sure that the structure of the distribution kit files has been preserved.
