Hardware and software requirements
Before installing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes, you must uninstall other anti-virus applications from the device to avoid possible conflicts between the applications.
Hardware requirements for the protected device
General requirement: x86/64-compatible single-core or multi-core systems.
Disk space requirements:
- For installing all application components: 100 MB
- For downloading and storing anti-virus databases: 2 GB or more
- For storing objects in Quarantine and in Backup: 400 MB or more
- For storing logs: 1 GB or more

You can upgrade Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes from versions 2.6 to version 3.1. In this case the application applies the rule list set in the previous versions along with the new rule list.
If you want to upgrade Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes from versions earlier than 2.6, you need to completely uninstall the application and then install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes 3.1. In this case the local rule lists set for the previous version will be removed, but rule lists controlled by Kaspersky Security Center policies will still be applied.

Limiting functional on later Windows versions
Windows XP SP2 version do not allow to block remote devices and configure the List of blocked network sessions settings. In this Windows version, the Block access to network shared resources for the sessions that show malicious activity option is inactive.

General hardware and software requirements:
- 1 GB of free disk space.
- The Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server must be installed if the klakaut service is selected as a data provider.
