Viewing the Reports

After the scanning is complete, the Reports folder is created. You can view the report files for each scanned device in the following format: kics_report_ <scanned_device_name>_<YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS>.txt.

The report incorporates the following sections:

• Title
  • Portable scanner version
  • Scanning date and time
  • Command line that started scanning
  • Device name and domain that started scanning
  • Operating system of the scanned device
  • Network interface: Name, IP-address, MAC-address
  • User account that started scanning
  • Database version
  • Scope
• List of events

  The List of events contains the details of scanning for both /type=full and /type=critical modes. It contains the name of scanned device and the action performed for the detected objects.
  For the /type=short mode, the list of events is not generated.

• Statistics

  The Statistics section of the report contains data about date and time when the scanning is completed and the number of objects by the following categories:

  • Detected
  • Infected and other objects detected
  • Probably infected objects detected
  • Objects not disinfected
  • Objects not removed
  • Objects not scanned
  • Objects not saved to Backup
  • Processing errors
  • Objects disinfected
  • Saved to Backup
  • Objects removed
  • Objects processed
