Viewing a general scan report

After the scan is complete, a report.txt file is created in Kavscan\Results\<scanned device name>\<scan date_time>\Reports.

The report incorporates the following sections:

• Title
  • Portable Scanner version
  • Scan date and time
  • Command used to start the scan
  • Name of the device that initiated the scan
  • Operating system of the scanned device
  • Network interface: name, MAC address, IP address
  • User that initiated the scan
  • Application databases create date
  • Scan scope
• List of events

  The list of events contains the scan details for the /type=full and /type=critical modes. It contains the name of scanned device and the action performed for the detected objects.
  For the /type=short mode, the list of events is not generated.

• Statistics

  This section of the report contains the date and time when the scan completed and the number of objects in the following categories:

  • Detected
  • Infected objects and other objects detected
  • Possibly infected objects
  • Objects not disinfected
  • Objects not deleted
  • Objects not scanned
  • Objects not backed up
  • Processing errors
  • Objects disinfected
  • Moved to Backup
  • Objects deleted
  • Objects processed.
  • Password-protected objects
  • Encrypted objects
  • Objects processed.
