Configuring application settings

To configure additional Kaspersky Security Gateway settings:

1. In the Start menu of Microsoft Windows select All applications > Kaspersky Security Gateway > Kaspersky Security Gateway Console.

   The Kaspersky Security Gateway window opens.

   You can also open the Console by clicking the Kaspersky Security Gateway option in the menu of the Kaspersky Security Gateway Tray Icon.

2. Select the Kaspersky Security Gateway node.
3. In the Application Settings section of the results pane, click the Configure application settings link.

   The Application settings window is displayed.

4. In the Interrogation block, set the Interrogation period (sec).
5. In the System tracing block:
   • Clear or select the Enable tracing check box.
   • In the drop-down list, select the Level of information to be logged.
6. Click OK in the Application settings window.

You can also configure application settings using the AppSettings.xml configuration file located in the C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\Security Gateway\Settings folder.
