Configurations of devices categorized as network equipment

The current version of the application lets you receive a configuration for the Network devices device type for the following devices:

• Cisco IOS™ devices.
• Eltex MES series.
• Hirschmann MACH and RS20 series.
• Moxa PT and EDS series.

  Configuration retrieval capabilities for Moxa PT series devices are not supported when the device is in default setup mode (MENU mode).

• Siemens RUGGEDCOM® RSG2100 and SCALANCE series with SSH protocol support.
• D-Link® DES and DGS series (supported only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1).
• MikroTik RouterOS devices (supported only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1).

For the Network devices device type, you can specify the following configuration types for receiving data:

• Users.
• ARP table items.
• Platform version.
• Executable processes.
• Startup configuration.
• Running configuration.
• Routing table.
• MAC table.
• Network interfaces.

Retrievable data on Cisco IOS devices

The application retrieves the following data when scanning Cisco IOS devices:

• User data:
  • Username in domain\username format.
  • Unique ID of the user.
  • Indication of whether an SSH key is set up.
  • Indication of whether a password has been configured.
  • Indication of whether a secret has been configured for the user.
  • User privilege level.
• Data on ARP table items:
  • IP address.
  • Hardware address.
  • Name of the network interface or adapter.
  • Hardware address type.

  • Entry type.
• OS version.

• Data on running processes:
  • Unique ID of the process.

  • Process name.
• Data on the startup configuration:
  • Name of the parameter section.
  • Textual representation of section parameters.
• Data on the running configuration:
  • Name of the parameter section.
  • Textual representation of section parameters.
• Data on the routing table:
  • Interface name or IP address.
  • Destination subnet.
  • Destination subnet mask.
  • Gateway (address of the next router in the remote network).

  • Protocol.

• Data on the MAC table:
  • VLAN number.

The application retrieves the following data when scanning Siemens RUGGEDCOM RSG2100 and SCALANCE series devices:

  • Recording type (supported only for Siemens SCALANCE series devices).
