Conditions determining how devices are taken into account in the Protection by EPP applications widget
The Protection by EPP applications widget displays the number of devices protected by EPP applications and the number of unprotected devices that could potentially be protected by EPP applications.
A device is considered protected by an EPP application and is included in the list of Computers with an active EPP application if Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks has information about the fulfillment of all the following conditions:
An EPP application is installed on the computer and this application has been configured to work with Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks.
The Real-Time Protection task is being performed for the EPP application.
The device has been assigned any status except the Archived status (taken into account only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1).
A device is considered unprotected by an EPP application and is included in the Computers without EPP applications list if this device is not included in the list of devices protected by EPP applications, the device is not assigned the Archived status, and one of the following conditions is also fulfilled:
The device belongs to one of the following categories:
Server
Workstation
HMI / SCADA (taken into account only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1)
Engineering workstation (taken into account only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1)
The EPP application sent information from this device to the integration server (taken into account only in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1).
The device information indicates the name of any version of a Windows operating system as the installed operating system (it is not taken into account in Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.5.1).
