If the check box is selected, the webcam access block applies to all applications installed on your computer except the applications to which you granted webcam access.
If the check box is cleared, Kaspersky Internet Security monitors application access to the webcam depending on the trust group of each application:
Trusted – webcam access is allowed.
Low Restricted – when an attempt is made to access the webcam, Kaspersky Internet Security displays a window prompting you to allow this application to access the webcam.
High Restricted and Untrusted – webcam access is blocked.
You can allow or block webcam access for applications. In this case, Kaspersky Internet Security monitors application access to the webcam based on whether you have allowed or blocked it.
If this check box is selected, Kaspersky Internet Security displays a notification when an application for which access is allowed is using the webcam. In the notification window, you can edit the settings of application access to the webcam or choose not to receive any further notifications.
If this check box is cleared, the notification is not displayed.
This check box is available if the Block access to webcam for all applications check box is cleared.
