Prevent applications from using the webcam
Applications on your computer can gain access to your webcam and take snapshots or record audio of your surroundings. You can block access to your webcam to prevent any application from using it.
Important: When Kaspersky Internet Security is blocking the webcam, in order to use the webcam, you must unblock it first.
To prevent applications from using the webcam:
- Open the main application window.
- In the main application window, click the
button.The Privacy Protection window opens.
- In the Block webcam section, click the Block button.
The title of the Block webcam section changes to Webcam is blocked, and Kaspersky Internet Security blocks your webcam.
