When you use the application under subscription, Kaspersky Internet Security automatically contacts the activation server at specific intervals until your subscription expires.
If you use the application under an unlimited subscription, Kaspersky Internet Security checks the activation server for a renewed key in the background (without any action by you) and adds it by replacing the previous key. In this way, your unlimited subscription for Kaspersky Internet Security is renewed without requiring any action from you.
If your subscription has expired and the grace period for renewing the subscription is over, Kaspersky Internet Security notifies you of this and stops trying to automatically renew the subscription. Kaspersky Internet Security stops updating the application databases (if you had a subscription to updates) or stops updating the application databases, protecting the computer, and running scan tasks (if you had a subscription to updates and protection).
You can renew your subscription manually by contacting the vendor that sold you Kaspersky Internet Security.
