Prevent applications from using the webcam
Applications on your computer can gain access to your webcam and take snapshots or record audio of your surroundings. You can block access to your webcam to prevent any application from using it.
Important: If Kaspersky Internet Security is blocking your webcam, you must first unblock the webcam in order to use it.
Prevent applications from using the webcam
- Open the main application window and click
.
The Privacy window opens.
- In the Block webcam section, click the Block button.
The title of the Block webcam section changes to Webcam is blocked, and Kaspersky Internet Security blocks your webcam.
