Turn on the Kaspersky Security browser extension for selected browsers
The Kaspersky Security browser extension warns you about dangerous websites and offers a safer way to enter passwords and sensitive information online. The extension is compatible with Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox.
By default, the extension is installed in Safari. To use the Kaspersky Security browser extension in this browser, you need to turn it on. Note that you can uninstall the extension from Safari only by uninstalling Kaspersky Internet Security.
Turn on Kaspersky Security browser extension in Safari
- In the menu bar, click the application icon and choose Preferences.
The application preferences window opens.
- On the Browsers tab, click the Enable Extension button.
- In the dialog that opens, click the Enable Extension button
- In the window that opens, select the Kaspersky Security checkbox.
To use the Kaspersky Security browser extension in Google Chrome and Firefox, you need to install the extension for these browsers.
Install the Kaspersky Security browser extension for Google Chrome/Firefox
- In the menu bar, click the application icon and choose Preferences.
The application preferences window opens.
- On the Browsers tab, click the Get Extension button.
- In the dialog that opens, click the Get Extension button.
Chrome Web Store or a dialog for installing the extension in Firefox opens.
- Follow the instructions in Chrome Web Store or in the dialog to install the extension.
