About the license
The license is a right to use the application, granted under the terms of the End User License Agreement.
The license entitles you to:
- Use the application in full functional mode on one or more devices.
- Get assistance from Technical Support.
- Receive updates.
The license is valid for a limited time. When it expires, you may be given a grace period to renew the license. The application remains functional during the grace period. When the license expires and the grace period is over, the application continues to operate with limited functionality (for example, updates and Kaspersky Security Network become unavailable). You can still use some of application components and run virus scans, but only with the anti-virus databases that were installed before the grace period ended. To continue using Kaspersky Internet Security in fully functional mode, you have to renew the license.
You are advised to renew your license on or before the day it expires to ensure maximum protection against all security threats.
Before buying a license, you can "test run" a trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security free of charge. The trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security remains functional for a short period. When the trial license expires, you may be given a grace period, during which the application remains functional. When the grace period is over, all Kaspersky Internet Security features are disabled. To continue using the application, you have to buy a license.
