The Parental Control window

You can open the Parental Control window in one of the following ways:

Open the Parental Control window from the application icon

Open the Parental Control window from the main application window

The left pane of the Parental Control window contains the list of user accounts on the computer. Next to the name of each account, a Parental Control indicator is displayed. A green-colored indicator means that Parental Control is enabled. Red means that Parental Control is disabled. By default, Parental Control is disabled for all user accounts on the computer.

If Parental Control is enabled for a user account, you can open the Preferences tab in the right pane of the Parental Control window to select the user operations on the computer and on the Internet that you want to control and monitor.

By default, control and monitoring of user operations is disabled for all categories. You can enable control and monitoring for each category of user operations separately, and perform detailed configuration of a selected category in the right pane of the Parental Control window.

On the Reports tab in the right pane of the Parental Control window, you can also view per-category activity reports for each user account that is covered by Parental Control.

Users cannot configure Parental Control without administrator rights on the computer. To configure and view reports in Parental Control, click and enter administrator credentials.
