Connect to My Kaspersky
If you downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security from My Kaspersky, the application automatically signs in to your account on the first start. If you downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security from the Kaspersky website, you can sign in to My Kaspersky with your My Kaspersky account or create one.
On My Kaspersky, you can do the following:
- Activate the application.
- View information about your license or subscription.
- Buy and renew your license or subscription.
- Check your subscription status.
- View the status of computer protection.
- Fix problems and neutralize threats.
- Run a Full Scan and Quick Scan tasks for one or more devices.
- Update application databases for one or more devices.
- Enable or disable application components.
- View recommendations.
- Contact Technical Support.
If you have used another Kaspersky application, for example, Kaspersky Internet Security for another device, you probably have a My Kaspersky account.
Note: If you have signed in to My Kaspersky in another Kaspersky application on your Mac, Kaspersky Internet Security can prompt you to sign in to My Kaspersky using the same account.
Sign in to My Kaspersky using your existing account
- Open the main application window and click Sign In.
The Sign In to My Kaspersky window opens.
- Enter the credentials of your My Kaspersky account.
- Click Sign In.
Note: If you enter the password incorrectly several times in a short period, you will need to enter characters from a picture to pass the Security Check.
If you have enabled two-step verification for your My Kaspersky account, you will need to enter a code sent to your mobile device in an SMS message.
- If you have the Kaspersky Internet Security version intended for use within the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Brazil, the application prompts you to view and accept the terms of the Statement regarding data processing for purpose of using web-portal. If you agree with the terms of the Web-portal Statement, click Accept.
Kaspersky Internet Security signs you in to the My Kaspersky account.
Important: If your version of the application has been downloaded from your My Kaspersky account that already has an applied activation code for Kaspersky Internet Security and the license has not expired yet, the application will be activated automatically after you sign in to My Kaspersky.
Create a My Kaspersky account from the application interface
- Open the main application window and click Sign In.
The Sign In to My Kaspersky window opens.
- Click Create Account.
- If you have the Kaspersky Internet Security version intended for use within the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Brazil, the application prompts you to view and accept the terms of the Statement regarding data processing for purpose of using web-portal. If you agree with the terms of the Web-portal Statement, click Accept.
The Create a My Kaspersky Account window opens.
- In the email address field, enter the email address that you want to associate with your new My Kaspersky account.
- In the password field, enter the password for your new My Kaspersky account.
Note: The password must contain a minimum of eight characters, including at least one digit, one lowercase letter, and one uppercase letter. Spaces are not allowed.
- In the password confirmation field, enter the password again.
- In the country selection pop-up menu, select your country.
Note: Kaspersky Internet Security automatically displays your country, based on the region set in your system's Language & Region preferences. This option determines the regional settings for your My Kaspersky account, for example, the display language and available Kaspersky applications. You can change your country for My Kaspersky later only by contacting Technical Support.
If you agree to provide Kaspersky with your email address for receiving informational and promotional email messages, select the I agree to provide Kaspersky with my email address to receive personalized marketing offers checkbox.
- Click Create.
Kaspersky Internet Security connects to My Kaspersky and creates your account. After your account is created, the main application window opens and an email message with instructions on account activation is sent to the email address that you specified during registration.
The main application window opens.
Switch to another My Kaspersky account
- Open the main application window and click <My Kaspersky account>.
- In the dialog that opens, click Sign Out.
- In the main application window, click Sign In.
The window for signing in to My Kaspersky opens.
- Enter the credentials of your My Kaspersky account.
- Click Sign In.
Kaspersky Internet Security signs you in to the My Kaspersky account.
