Content filtering in Japan

Web Control is available only in the app in Japan to comply with the Japanese law.

Web Control is only available in the Premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security.

Web Control allows you to manage web content on a mobile device and protect against unwanted online content. For example, you can install Kaspersky Internet Security on your child's device and choose which web content categories and specific websites will be available to him or her.

You must use a protected browser to be protected on the Internet. See the list of protected browsers.

To set up Web Control,

  1. On a child's device, open Kaspersky Internet Security.
  2. On the quick launch panel, tap Internet Protection.
  3. Tap Settingson the Browser with protection screen.
  4. Tap Configure Web Control and set the password, the secret question and the answer to make sure that only an adult can change these feature settings.
  5. Tap Mode on the Configure Web Control screen and set up limitations by age. If you select Custom, you can manually block access to specific website categories.
  6. Go back to the Internet Protection screen.

The Web Control is set up.

If necessary, you can add websites to the list of exclusions. Web Control doesn't block websites added to the list of exclusions even if they belong to restricted categories.
